Artificial is a short film that conveys the unnatural atmospheric conditions that are generated on the London Underground throughout a standard working day. It documents a build up of heat produced from lighting, trains and people and captures how the system tries to cool itself down through the movement of trains, air conditioning and ventilation shafts. Using a secretive style of photography, I’ve tried to capture natural life within this fluctuation of artificial energy.
