September Girls - Veneer

아일랜드 더블린에서 온 5인조 여성 록밴드 셉템버 걸스의 데뷔앨범 Veneer의 리드싱글곡이며 타이틀곡인 Veneer의 뮤직비디오가 공개되었다. 흑백톤 레트로 영상에 강렬한 사운드로 첫인상을 심어준 신인 여성 록밴드 셉템버 걸스는 노이즈팝을 지향하는 왜곡된 기타 사운드에 괴기스런 퍼포먼스 그리고 나른한 보컬이 어울어진 멋진 뮤직비디오를 선보이며 강렬한 신고식을 마쳤다.  2011년 결성된 셉템버 걸스는 다양한 인디 레이블을 발표하며 성장해오다가 드디어 대망의 데뷔앨범을 발매하게 되었다고 한다. 

The first single from the forthcoming September Girls four-track EP, 'Veneer.'

The EP was recorded deep underground in Guerrilla Studios, Dublin, yet still retains their signature drenched feedback sound, the tracks have a greater depth and polish than the album recordings. Veneer stands up to the force that stifles creativity and expression. 

Video concept developed by September Girls, directed and edited by Jessie Ward O'Sullivan, art directed by Caoimhe Derwin.
