Artist Biography: DEWFALL - Epic Black/Death Metal band from the Italic Land. On March 2004 DEWFALL released a first EP entitled "Legacy Of Soul" which received a very good media response (Top Demo on Deferndersofsteel.net and Eutk.net). The demo was launched in several live-acts in Southern Italy, among which the Indian Bikers Festival 2004 (Manduria - ITA) with Virgin Steele and Natron. In 2006 DEWFALL played at Total Metal Festival (Bari- ITA) with Necrodeath, DGM, Rain, Disguise. In 2009, the full length "V.I.T.R.I.O.L." - a self-produced concept album composed by 9 songs - was launched to the press receiving an important feedback by Italian and international channels (Top Album on Metal Maniac n.April 2009 and Metalitalia.com).

After a long stand by, DEWFALL appeared again on 2012 with a new line-up, showing the founder guitarist Flavio Paterno as the only one among the original members. In the same year DEWFALL won the "Salento Metal Contest 2012" (national live contest involving 15 metal bands) by the response of the Public-Jury Panel. On early January 2013 DEWFALL published the new promo "Painful Death Lake", recorded, mixed and produced at "SUN KEEPER STUDIO" (Bari -- Italy), containing 3 new songs which will be part of the next album. The artwork has been created by Moon Ring Design® and is composed by a rich symbolism representing the lyrics concept. The title track "Painful Death Lake" has been used in the first videoclip of the band, directed by Alessandro Minenna (SUN KEEPER STUDIO) and published on April 2013. Now the band is performing in new gigs in Italy and is looking for a label.

Painful Death Lake, produced and directed by Alessandro Minenna (Sun Keeper Studio) is a symbolic and cryptic story of alchemy, magic and nature, death and life. The video shows a path of life (the old alchemyst walking different scenaries) the ritual of trasmutation (the passage of spirit and soul from the alchemyst body to the corpse) and it tells about the awareness of the soul to be damned to a sort of eternal existence (the band performing in the perennial ice). We summarize our life "concept" in the last 3 lyrics lines in ancient latin language: "Life is nothing but a grain of light in a vaste space".
