“Tonight I’m Getting Over You” is a song by Canadian recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen. The track written by herself with the collaboration of Lukas Hilbert, Max Martin, Clarence Coffee Jr., Shiloh, and Katerina Loulestaken is confirmed as the third official and fourth overall single taken from her second studio album and first international release “Kiss” that went on sale on iTunes on September 14, 2012 via 604 and Interscope Records. The uptempo song speaks about having had enough of a boy who just broke all of his promises to Jepsen so she wants to get over him by dancing with someone new.
The song will be released as the follow-up single to “This Kiss” after it impacts the Top 40 mainstream radio songs. It was released on French radio airplay on January 21, 2013 and is scheduled for release on U.S. radio on mid-February 2013. The music video will be recorded next weekend (February 2 and 3) in downtown LA. The music video was premiered on VEVO on February 22nd.
